Happy Turkey Day!

It's normally a busy day, filled with guests in your home, Netflix, football, way too much food. It's a great deal of work and effort and yet somehow we're all extremely satisfied at the end. Perhaps it's the memories created, the day off from our routine and schedules? The feeling of warmth, or the overpriced candles that we convince ourselves will make our fall that much more perfect?

We may only be able to teach and care for your child for a little while, but we treasure these moments and sharing in your family for the time we get. We are thankful for their laughter, for their sense of adventure and exploration. For your trust in us, the relationships that we build. These are beautiful and momentous gifts that we do not take for granted. You all leave a lasting imprints on our hearts.

For some, this time of year or any holiday can be challenging for various reasons. I want to offer my support and encouragement. To remind you that you have an ally, a friend, someone in your corner. Setting boundaries is more than acceptable. Grieving is nothing to be ashamed of or kept secret. I am there with you.

I hope everyone reading this gets a chance to do whatever makes your soul dance. Don't worry, I won't inflict the torture of watching me dance...

I'll try to ignore my Peloton and various weights judging me as I inhale some pumpkin pie...

To all those who celebrate-Happy Thanksgiving!

Mrs. Lauren
